Hello!
We had a great holiday in Sicily. The house in Balastrate was very good. It had lots of room and was in a semi rural setting which we enjoyed. Whilst the people were very friendly the town of Balestrate does not have a lot going for it but it is the perfect base to explore North West Sicily (Palermo , Trapani , Erice and more). We loved the village of Scopello. It is really lovely and so picturesque and we would love to rent a house there next time!

Taormina

Hi Christian,
Thank you very much for booking the very lovely B & B in Taormina. The location was halfway between Taormina and Castelmola. There were many steps to the main part of town, which weren't too bad going down but quite an effort coming back up. However there is a bus service and we used that most of the time. The hostess was lovely and very helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable with a nice continental breakfast. The rooms are air-conditioned and have large balconies with wonderful views of Mount Etna and Giardini Naxos. We would definitely recommend it.
